This basket is a perfect manifestation of the idea behind Gladstone / Hellen because it is perfect for use in the country or town; great for picnics or fruit picking or fishing, but also super-chic for a trip to the market. The basket is made in Abergele on the North Wales coast and the leather has been added by Ruby in our studio. Truly (misused phrase alert!), this is an heirloom piece.

Basket is approximately 34 cm (l) at base x 20 cm (w) at top. Straps are 45 cm to shoulder.

Materials

The main body of the basket is willow, interwoven with plaited rush. The leather is British Pasture Leather.
